Description
Gorse Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century that was remodeled in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed ironstone with some limestone dressings and features 20th-century machine-made pantiles on the roof. The building is two storeys high. The west front has two window bays positioned to the right, featuring late 19th-century sash windows, with a smaller sash window located between the pair on the first floor. To the left of this elevation, there is a blocked doorway, and there is a second blocked doorway on the south gable. The roof is gabled and has 20th-century brick stacks at the internal ends. A two-storey gabled wing extends east from the north end, displaying similar architectural details and 19th-century casement windows.
