Description

Opal Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is built from coursed ironstone and has a pantile roof. The cottage has one storey and a dormer attic. There is a 20th-century door located to the right of the centre. To the left, there is a late 19th-century two-light casement window, and to the right, a late 20th-century three-light casement window. The gabled roof features two dormers: one from the 19th century on the right and one from the 20th century on the left. There is a 20th-century ridge stack positioned left of centre and an internal gable-end stack on the west side.
