Description
Glenroy is a cottage located on the north side of Back Lane in Stonesby, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone, with a roughcast and colourwashed front, and features a slate roof. The building is one storey high with a dormer attic. To the left, there is a 20th-century door next to an 18th-century sliding sash window. On the right, a 20th-century casement window with two lights closes the front. The cottage has a gabled roof and includes one gabled dormer with a three-light casement window. Internal gable-end stacks are present. At the rear, the cottage is lit by one 20th-century casement and one 18th-century casement, both with two lights. To the west, there is an early 19th-century brick extension topped with a pantiled roof.
