Description
Stoneleigh is a cottage, likely built in the late 17th century and altered in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared ironstone, primarily using small thin stones, with some larger squarish blocks included. The roof is slate, featuring a brick ridge and internal stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of one storey with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The ground floor has three-light casement windows, which are adorned with stop-chamfered wood lintels, and there are two nipped dormers in the roof. A blue brick plinth is visible at the quoins. There is a wing to the rear right and the entrance is located at the back. Inside, the cottage features spine beams.
