Cottage. Early C18. Coursed squared ironstone and limestone, plain tile roof, brick end and ridge stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys, cellar and attic; 2-window range. Central part-glazed plank door in moulded wood surround with timber lintel and segmental hood on brackets, 4-light casement window to left, a 2-light casement to right and 3-light casements to first floor all with timber lintels. A change in stonework at head of sills of first floor windows indicates old raising. Single-storey C20 extension to left. Quoins. Interior has ogee stop-chamfered spine beams, old doors and central roof truss with clasped ogee principals. (Northamptonshire History News, No.29, March 1976, p.14).
