Description

The base of a medieval cross is located to the south of the Parish Church of St Egelwin the Martyr in Scalford. This cross base is made of limestone and features a square base with a circular moulding on top, resting on a chamfered plinth and two circular steps. The stump of the cross shaft, which is square in section, sits on the base.
