Description

Ravenholt is a house located on the west side of New Street in Scalford, dating from the early 19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features a hipped slate roof with brick lateral stacks. It has a double-depth plan and is two stories high with a three-window range. The house includes a gabled stone porch with a segmental-arched doorway. There are 19th-century horned sash windows on the ground and first floors, arranged from left to right, each with flat-arched brick heads and rendered key blocks. A single-light window is located at the center of the first floor, featuring a wooden lintel. The interior has not been inspected. Ravenholt is included for its group value.
