Description
The garden boundary wall, gates, and gate piers for Ravenholt (Number 8) were built in the 19th century. The wall is made of coursed ironstone with brick and rendered coping. The gate piers are constructed from limestone ashlar and feature stepped moulded caps topped with small urn finials. The gates are made of cast iron and have spear finials. This structure encloses the front garden of Ravenholt along its boundary with South and New Streets, with the gates positioned opposite the porch and facing South Street. It is included for its group value.
