Description

Garden walls and gates to No. 18, built around the 1870s, are made of local grey limestone rubble. These walls create the boundary of the garden along Teignmouth Road. The structure features square section gate piers with irregular capping, and a pair of iron gates. The gates have verticals that are round in plan, with cast-iron finials above the middle and top rails. Each gate has upward curving braces with scrolled ends. This structure is included for its group value with No. 18.
