Description

The War Memorial in Quorn was built around 1920. It is made of stone and features a metal plaque. The memorial consists of a square, moulded, and carved tapering block that stands approximately 3.5 meters high on a stepped plinth. At the top, there is a carved relief of St. George and the Dragon, with the inscription 'St. George and Merry England' below it. The metal plaque lists the names of those who fell in the First World War, along with an inscription honoring those from the Second World War.
