Description

The war memorial, built around 1920, commemorates the World Wars and is enclosed by a cast iron fence. It is made of Portland stone and features a sculpture of St George and the Dragon on a tapering stone base. The base has egg and dart moulding at the top and includes oval copper plaques surrounded by a foliate border with inscriptions. The memorial stands on a stepped plinth.
