Description

This is a cottage dating to around 1800, located on the south side of High Street, Quorn. The building is constructed of red brick with a Swithland slate roof, and features brick stacks at the rear and left end. The front facade has two storeys, with two three-light horizontal sliding sash windows on the upper floor, above three-light casement windows. The windows are topped with cambered lintels; the bricks are laid ‘head-on’ to the sides of the lintel and ‘side-on’ in the centre. A central doorcase provides entrance to a four-panelled door. To the right of the main entrance is a carriage entrance with double doors.
