Description

No. 4 Loughborough Road is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a brick plinth, band, and cornice, topped with a Swithland slate roof that has brick stacks on the left ridge, left end, and rear. The building is 2½ storeys tall and has three 8/8 sash windows and one blocked window. There are three 2-light dormers and five 2/2 sashes on the ground floor, all with cambered lintels on the first floor. On the right side, there is a doorcase with a shouldered architrave, a pediment, a four-panelled door, and a fanlight. Additional sashes are located on the right end, along with a 20th-century porch. A wing extends to the rear.
