Description
No. 11 Wymeswold Road is a cottage that was originally two single-unit dwellings but has been combined into one. It features a central plank doorway and has a late 18th century brick front that covers an earlier house. The building is 1½ storeys tall and includes a dormer window on the left side. A cruck frame is visible in the gable end, with timbering that appears to be of slight scantling, possibly from the 17th century. The main facade shows a wallplate and two vertical posts to the right, with stretcher bond brickwork indicating that the former timber frame has been encased.
