Description

This is a row of five cottages located on School Lane in Barkby, built in the early 19th century. The cottages are constructed of brick and topped with Swithland slate roofs, standing two stories tall. Each cottage features a single unit plan, with a six-panelled door and a three-light horizontally sliding sash window on each floor. All openings are designed with cambered heads, and there are gable end stacks for ventilation.
