Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage dated 1766, constructed of brick with a plinth and a Swithland slate roof. The building has two storeys and a two-unit plan, featuring a central doorway framed by a bracketed architrave. The outer windows have cambered brick arched heads; the left window is a three-light horizontally sliding sash, while the right window has been renewed. The upper windows have also been renewed. A plain brick sill band and a dentilled eaves cornice add to the architectural detail, and there are gable end stacks.
