Description

The barn, dated 1768, is located in the grounds of the old vicarage in Barkby. It is constructed of brick on a cobble plinth and features a Swithland slate roof. The gable faces the street and includes one narrow door and a blocked window in the north wall, both with cambered brick heads. In the gable wall, there is a 2-light horizontally sliding sash window on the ground floor, along with a blocked window above, also featuring a cambered brick head. The apex of the barn displays the date on a slate, along with the initials W.P.
