Description
The barn located north-west of the Old Vicarage was built in 1755. It is constructed of brick and sandstone, topped with a tile roof. The south wall features a canopy with cheeks on the left side, where the lower part of the cheeks is made of stone. To the right, there are breathers arranged in diamond patterns and two doorways with stone lintels, although the right-hand doorway is blocked. The lower part of this wall has stone quoins. On the right (east) gable wall, there is a doorway with a stone lintel, above which is a pitching door. Below this door is an oval plaque inscribed with 'JP Vicar Anno Domini 1755'. Inside, the barn contains two softwood king-post trusses.
