Description

This is a group of two headstones located against the east wall of the vestry of the Church of St Helen. One headstone dates from the 18th century and is made of sandstone, inscribed with the initials 'RC 1728'. The other is a medieval grave cover, also made of sandstone, featuring a carved circular cross head and inscribed with the initials 'RB' in a style typical of the 18th or 19th century.
