Description
The Old Vicarage is a house, formerly a vicarage, built around 1800. It is constructed of brick with sandstone dressings and features a hipped tile roof. The building has a symmetrical design with two storeys and five bays, highlighted by a stone band, cornice, and blocking course. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have stone lintels and sills, although the fourth and fifth bays on the first floor are blind. The entrance features a semi-circular Composite porch supported by two columns and two attached columns, accessed by six steps on each side, with iron railings. Above the door is a fanlight with an elliptical arch. Each side wall has four bays, and at the rear, there is a Venetian stair window. Inside, there is a dog-leg stair with stick balusters and a swept handrail.
