Description
Rose Cottages is a row of two cottages, originally three, dating from around 1800. They are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and feature a Swithland slate roof with brick ridge and end stacks. The cottages have a one-unit plan and are two stories high, with a three-window range. Each cottage has three plank doors with segmental-arched heads. The windows consist of three-light casements on both the ground and first floors, with the ground floor windows having segmental-arched heads and the first-floor windows featuring wooden lintels. The central and left windows on both floors include a central sliding light. The interiors have not been inspected. The cottages are included for their group value.
