Description

This is a row of cottages located on Church Street, built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. The cottages are constructed of brick and feature roofs made of Swithland and Welsh slate. There are three distinct phases of building evident in the design. The cottages are two stories tall and primarily consist of single unit plans, with openings that have cambered brick heads. The windows are made of wood with mullions and transoms, arranged in two or three lights. Each door case is topped with flat hoods supported by console brackets. Numbers 1 to 5 have a wood modillion eaves cornice, and there are gable end stacks present.
