Description

No. 2 Main Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped Welsh slate roof. The building is two stories high and has three bays, with a central door that is framed by a reeded architrave and topped with an ornate wrought iron porch that includes a canopy. The windows on either side of the door are three-light casements with cambered brick heads on both floors, while there is a single light window above the doorway. The south elevation includes a side doorway that has console brackets supporting a flat canopy, along with a small canted bay to its right. The house has gable end stacks.
