Description

No. 4 Market Place is a house from the early 19th century. It is built of brick and has a Welsh slate roof. The building has three storeys and three bays, featuring a symmetrical layout with a central doorway that is framed by a wooden pedimented porch. On either side of the doorway, there are three-light casement windows, each with a lower centrally opening light. The central window space in the attic is blind, while the attic windows are three-light horizontally sliding sashes. The house is topped with a dentilled eaves cornice and has gable end stacks.
