Description
The Maltings is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a concrete tiled roof. The building has three storeys and four bays, with an additional bay to the left of the entrance. The doorway consists of a six-panelled door topped with a radial fanlight, framed by an architrave with clustered shafts and console brackets that support a flat canopy adorned with beaded decoration. To the left of the doorway is one bay, and there are two bays to the right, all featuring 16-light sash windows on the ground and first floors, with narrower 12-light sash windows above the door. The attic storey is slightly lower in height. All windows are topped with finely gauged brick flat arched heads. The building has a wooden eaves cornice, a stack on the right-hand gable, and another stack located between the two right-hand units.
