The cottage is constructed of brick and has a corrugated iron roof that may cover a thatched roof beneath. The main section is one and a half storeys high and has a two-unit plan. The doorway is positioned to the left of the center, with a former shop window featuring five lights to its left, supported by console brackets that hold a fascia board.
