Description
Wilkins Farmhouse is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick with a slate-hung gable and a thatched roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and has three bays, including a smoke bay. On the right-hand side of the centre in the smoke bay, there is a four-panel door set in a segmental opening. The right bay features a three-light cast-iron casement window beneath a segmented arch. In the left centre, there is a two-light diamond pane cast-iron casement window under a segmental arch, along with a single casement window in the left bay, also under a segmental arch. Above the left centre and right bays, there are eyebrow dormers with three lights. A fire insurance plaque is located above the door. The roof is hipped, and there is a ridged stack positioned to the left of centre.
