Description

Burgate Cross Farmhouse is a cottage dating from the late 18th century and 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a thatched and slate roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and features two bays, with an outshot at one end and a two-storey, two-bay section at the other end. The front of the cottage has taller bays on the left-hand side. The lower part includes a central door flanked by two 2-light camber-head casements, and there is a 2-light eyebrow dormer above. Additionally, there is a 2-light casement in the outshot. A ridge stack is positioned above the door, and the left-hand part of the cottage has four 1 and 2-light camber-head casements.
