Description

PARISH OF ECKINGTON HAZELBARROW SK 38 SE 1/63 Outbuilding to the south-east of Hazelbarrow Farmhouse GV II Farm outbuilding, formerly cowhouse. Mid C17. Coursed squared coal measures sandstone, with coped gables, moulded kneelers and an asbestos sheeted roof. North-east elevation. Two storeys, four bays, with original doorway to centre having a quoined surround, and a keyblock carved in the lintel. To the south-east an inserted doorway with a plain surround. To the north-west, two rectangular openings beneath plain stone lintels, now with C20 cross windows with glazing bars. Single taking-in doorway to first floor and some ventilation slits.
