Description

The Groom's Cottage is a pair of cottages, now functioning as a house, built around 1800, with a late 20th-century addition. The structure is made of coursed squared stone, featuring a rendered addition and a right gable. It has stone slate roofs with a central rendered ridge stack and quoins. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range of renewed three-light glazing bar casements. Below this, there are two similar windows, with a blocked doorway on each side; the right doorway has a small casement window inserted. The late 20th-century addition on the right includes a lean-to stone slated porch and a small window. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
