Description

School House is a pair of late 18th-century cottages, later combined into a single house, located off School Lane in Norton, Sheffield. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone with a stone slate roof and a rendered gable stack. It is two storeys high with a four-window front. The left side features a three-light wooden casement window. The right side has two three-light stone mullioned casement windows. On the ground floor to the right is a 20th-century glazed door flanked by single three-light stone mullioned windows. To the left of the door is a glazed door, followed by a 20th-century lean-to conservatory. The interior has not been inspected.
