Description

Norton Hall Farm comprises farm buildings, dating to circa 1802, that were converted into three houses around 1985. The buildings are constructed of brick with gabled and pyramidal slate roofs. They feature a plinth and dentilled eaves. The complex consists of a single range with central and end pavilions, standing two storeys high across eleven bays. The windows are 20th-century, two-light casements with glazing bars. The central pavilion has two windows on each floor. Flanking this are wings, each with a four-bay round-headed arcade supported by impost bands; these now contain 20th-century casements and French windows, all with wooden panelled fanlights. The two-storey end pavilions have first-floor and impost bands with single windows, originally featuring blocked fanlights above. Below are blocked, segment-headed carriage openings, now fitted with 20th-century windows. The interior has not been inspected.
