Description
The gatepiers at Hazelbarrow Farmhouse date from the early 18th century and are made of ashlar sandstone. Each pier is square in shape and features a banded frieze and a boldly projecting cornice, topped with ball finials on tapered stems. These gatepiers were originally part of the approach to Hazelbarrow Hall, which was the residence of the Frecheville family and was demolished around 1810.
