Description
Jordanthorpe Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now used as a house, dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th and late 20th centuries. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone, featuring a rendered gable and a stone slate roof that has three coped brick gable stacks. It has quoins and coped gables with kneelers.
The farmhouse is two storeys tall and has a five-window range arranged in a 2:3 pattern. The main block, located to the right, includes a central two-light casement window flanked by single three-light casements, all with stone flush mullions. There is a central chamfered doorway with a keystone and a 20th-century glazed door, alongside single three-light casements with stone flush mullions. To the left, there is a lower set-back bay with two windows, which includes a blocked two-light mullioned window and, to its right, a 20th-century through-eaves box dormer. Below this bay, there is a two-light casement window and a glazed door. The interior has not been inspected.
