Description
The barn at Hazelhurst Farm is a late 16th-century farm outbuilding with 20th-century additions. It is constructed of coursed rubble coal measures sandstone, featuring quoins and a stone slated roof. The barn has an offshoot on the north-west side and a 20th-century addition on the south-east. Inside, it is a five-bay structure with massive cruck trusses that support a single purlin roof. Each truss includes collar and tie beams, and the ridge purlin is supported by a yoke. Hazelhurst Farmhouse is not listed.
