Description
This barn, located 10 yards north of Hazelhurst Cottage, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is timber framed and covered in weatherboard, sitting on a brick plinth. The barn features a 20th-century plain tiled half-hipped roof that extends in a catslide towards the side closest to the house. The structure is rectangular with five framed bays, and one bay at the left end is clad in brick. There are double waggon doors at the center of the framed range. Inside, the barn includes bracing and queen-post trusses, with an outer strut to the center bay. This building is included for its group value with the adjacent cottage.
