Description

Kennel Meadow Farmhouse and its associated outbuildings form a group of mid-18th century buildings united under a continuous roof. The farmhouse is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with flush gritstone dressings, topped with a plain tile roof. Gable and ridge stacks are present, along with a moulded eaves band. The front elevation features a double-fronted design. The farmhouse is two storeys high with a pair of single, two-light flush mullioned windows on either side of the doorcase, which has a massive stone lintel. Two smaller, similar windows are located above. All windows are 20th-century casements. To the southeast of the farmhouse are gritstone outbuildings, also double-fronted, with small-paned iron casements in the second-storey windows.
