Description

Round Meadow Farmhouse and its outbuildings form a single structure beneath a continuous roof. The farmhouse dates to 1820. It is constructed of squared coursed gritstone with flush dressings. The roof is tiled with a stone ridge, and features brick gable and ridge stacks. The gables are stone-coped and have kneelers. The farmhouse is double-fronted and has two storeys. A massively quoined doorcase has a lintel inscribed 'CC 1820.' To either side of the doorcase are two-light flush mullion windows with 20th-century casements, and there are two similar windows above. To the west, adjoining outbuildings, are two windows on either side of a stable door, with two casements above.
