Description
Green Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed squared rubblestone. It features a plain tiled roof with a central brick chimney and stone-coped gables with kneelers. The building is three storeys high and has a double fronted design with string courses at each floor level. The central doorway is framed by a stone doorcase that has bead moulding and a flat hood supported by brackets, with a 19th-century door. On either side of the doorway are two-light flush mullioned windows, and the first floor has smaller windows with similar 19th-century casements. The attic contains double casement windows. At the rear, there is a twin-gabled wing and a low two-storey wing attached at the east end, which has a gable end chimney and two two-light mullion windows. The kitchen features a large moulded stone lintel over the fireplace.
