Description
Yewtree Farmhouse is an early 18th-century building of rubble construction, featuring a moulded plinth and a ground floor lintel band. The roof is hipped and covered with stone tiles, with brick side chimneys and a coved eaves cornice. The farmhouse has two storeys and five windows, originally with stone mullions and transoms, but now fitted with later casement windows. The central doorway features a divided transom light and a 6-panel door set within a chamfered surround, with a semi-circular stone threshold. A low rubble stone wall, approximately 3 to 4 feet high, runs along the front of the house, bordering a garden. To the south-east is a small, square rubble pavilion with a pyramidal stone tile roof.
