Description
The Seventh Day Adventist Church, formerly known as Victoria Road Baptist Church, is a late 19th-century building constructed from granite rubble with stone dressings, designed in a Gothic style that generally reflects 14th-century architecture. It features slate roofs and a northeast tower, which is adorned with gable-headed buttresses at the corners that rise to octagonal pinnacles. The tower is topped with a broach spire that includes lucarnes and decorative bands. The church has large curvilinear traceried windows at the ends of the nave and transept, along with gabled aisles that contain three-light traceried windows.
