HUNTWICK WITH FOULBY AND NOSTELL NOSTELL PARK Cruse monument approx. 2 metres east of chancel of Church of St. Michael and our Lady.

Raised monumental slab. c. 1741. Commemorates Margarate (sic) Cruse, wife of Francis Cruse (d. 1741). Sandstone. A low scrolled pedestal at each end: Surface decorated with incised round-arched head, with keystone; raised decorated initial "H". Additions: Elizabeth Cruse, second wife of Francis Cruse (d. 1761); Francis, (d. 1770); John, son of John and Ann Cruse (d. 1747, aged 2 weeks).
