Description

The Crick Memorial, located approximately 8 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary, is a headstone dating from around 1696. It is made of marlstone and features an inscription that is flanked by barleytwist pilasters with Ionic capitals. These pilasters support an entablature and a broken segmental pediment. The inscription commemorates John and Heastaer Crick, who died in 1696 and 1700, respectively.
