Description
The Lodge to Nostell Priory Estate Yard is a lodge built around 1845. It is constructed from dressed sandstone with ashlar dressings and features stone slate roofs, coped pedimented gables, and two stone stacks. The building is two stories high and has an L-plan layout. The west front includes three windows with a slightly projecting central bay that is topped by a pediment. There is a central doorway with an overlight, flanked by single plain sash windows. Above, there are three similar plain sash windows, with the central one being narrower. This lodge is part of the estate yard for Nostell Priory, which was laid out for Charles W Winn, who lived from 1795 to 1874.
