Description

The stable building located 10 yards to the east of the Town Hall dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone with rusticated quoins and features a hipped slate roof with a stone stack. The building has modillion brackets supporting the gutter. It is two storeys high and has a round arched carriage entrance on the right side. To the left of the entrance, there is a round arched window and a central doorway, both set in a recessed surround. Originally, there were three round windows on the first floor with raised surrounds, but the window on the right has been altered to a casement.
