29th August 1978 Stable building 10 yards to east of Town Hall (formerly listed as being 10 metres east of Springfield House) G.V. II

Former stable building. Early C19. Ashlar with rusticated quoins. Hipped slate roof with stone stack. Modillion brackets to gutter. Two storeys. Round arched carriage entrance to right. Window to left, central doorway, both round arched and set in recessed surround. Formerly 3 round windows, with raised surround, to 1st floor, the one to right has been altered to casement.
