Description
The building is a stable located approximately 15 meters north of the Manor House, dating from the 18th century and partly rebuilt in the 19th century. It is constructed of ironstone ashlar with limestone dressings, while the 19th-century work is in brick with a slate roof and stone stacks. The stable is two storeys high and has five bays. The central bay projects under a pediment and is highlighted by chamfered quoins. The carriage entrance features a rusticated arch with an elliptical head. There are windows on either side of the entrance with stone lintels and 12-pane sash windows, and an 8-pane sash window is located on the first floor. The rear of the building was rebuilt in the 19th century.
