Description

This is an early 18th-century house, part of a group, located in Highburton. The walls are rendered and have quoins. The roof is covered with stone slates, turned to improve weather resistance, and features a central chimney stack. The house is two storeys high. The front elevation has a large 2-light and a large 3-light double chamfered window on the ground floor. Above, there is a 2-light window to the left and right of a central single light, all double chamfered and large. An outshut, a service extension, projects to the rear, creating a single-storey section. The right gable has a recent porch and a 2-light double chamfered window to the right. On the first floor, a blocked 3-light double chamfered window (with a drip mould) and a 2-light double chamfered window are visible; the 2-light window retains some early window glass.
