Description
This is a cottage attached to the east of The Hill, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features quoins and a pitched stone slate roof. The building has two storeys.
On the south elevation, the ground floor includes an entrance with a stone surround and a 7-light stone mullioned window, although the centre light is blocked. The first floor displays a cast iron plaque with a Gothic motif of unknown origin and an 8-light stone mullioned window, with three of the lights blocked. Additionally, there is a loading door with a timber bridge. A datestone reset into one of the lights reads 'IF 1754'.
