Description

No 3 Chain is a late 18th-century building that forms part of a terrace. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched tiled roof. The north side has stone brackets supporting the gutter. The building stands two storeys tall.

On the south elevation, the ground floor includes an entrance that has stone surrounds, tie-stones, and quoins. There is also a recessed 4-light stone mullioned window. The first floor features another recessed 4-light stone mullioned window. The north elevation has two 2-light stone mullioned windows on the ground floor, which have chamfered jambs and a chamfered mullion.
