Description

No 2 Chain is a late 18th century building that is part of a terrace. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched tiled roof. The north side has stone brackets supporting the gutter. The building has two storeys and a basement.

On the south elevation, the ground floor includes an entrance with stone surrounds and a recessed 4-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has a recessed 3-light stone mullioned window and a recessed 2-light stone mullioned window. The north elevation features a 2-light stone mullioned window along with various single lights, some of which are of later date.
